Privacy policy

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act.

This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Alpen-Taxibedarf OG
Simmeringer Hauptstraße 40/4/9, 1110 Vienna, Austria
Phone: +43 1 9971926
E-mail: alpentaxibedarf@gmail.com

We have not appointed a data protection officer because the legal requirements for doing so do not apply to us.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

When the website is accessed, the server automatically collects data transmitted by your browser. In particular:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the file retrieved
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Notification of whether the retrieval was successful
  • Browser type, browser version and operating system
  • The previously visited page, if transmitted

This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it running securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not combined with other data sources.

These log files are also evaluated for visitor statistics; see the following section.

3. Visitor statistics with IONOS WebAnalytics

Our hosting provider uses IONOS WebAnalytics to provide visitor statistics. This function is active by default in IONOS hosting contracts and runs at server level, not via a script on this website.

In particular, the pages accessed, time of access, browser type and version, operating system, device type and the previously visited page are recorded. The evaluation serves exclusively statistical purposes and the technical improvement of this website.

According to IONOS, WebAnalytics works without cookies. The IP address is transmitted when a page is requested, then immediately anonymised and processed further without any personal reference. IONOS does not store any personal data of website visitors, so no conclusions can be drawn about individuals. The data is not passed on to third parties, nor transferred to a country outside the European Union.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and technical improvement of our website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As no cookies are set and the data is anonymised, no consent is required.

The recipient is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

4. Contact form

If you send us an enquiry using the form on the contact page, we process the following information:

  • Name (required)
  • E-mail address (required)
  • Phone number (required)
  • Your message (required)
  • Company, vehicle and the selected topic, if you provide them voluntarily
  • The language version of the page from which you send the enquiry

The data is used exclusively to process and answer your enquiry. It is sent to our e-mail address; it is not stored in a database.

Legal basis: For enquiries aimed at concluding a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). In addition, your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by e-mail to us.

Storage period: We delete enquiries from the contact form six months after they have been fully handled. If the enquiry leads to an order, the statutory retention periods apply, in particular seven years under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO).

5. Contact by phone, e-mail and WhatsApp

If you call us or send us an e-mail, we process your details to handle your request on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Our website contains links to WhatsApp. This is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, which belongs to the Meta group of companies. These are plain links. As long as you do not click on them, no data is transferred to WhatsApp.

If you click on such a link, WhatsApp opens and a connection to the provider's servers is established. Among other things, your phone number and IP address are processed. This may also involve a transfer to the USA. We have no influence on this processing. Please refer to the provider's privacy policy at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea. If you want to avoid this, please use phone or e-mail.

6. Google Maps

On the home page and the contact page we offer a map from the Google Maps service. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The map is not embedded automatically. At first you only see a placeholder. Only when you press the “Load map from Google” button is the map loaded and your browser connects to Google. In particular, your IP address is transmitted to Google; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by pressing the button. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the stored data of this website in your browser.

For more information, see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies for advertising or analytics purposes. We do not use advertising networks or services that recognise visitors. The visitor statistics of our hosting provider described in the previous section also work without cookies.

If you load the Google map, a single entry is stored in your browser's local storage. It records that you agreed to load the map, so that you are not asked again on every page view. This entry contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us or third parties. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

8. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise this by the address bar of your browser starting with “https://”. This means that data you send to us cannot easily be read by third parties.

9. Recipients of data

Your data is only passed on insofar as this is necessary to handle your request or we are legally obliged to do so. Recipients are in particular our hosting provider as processor and – in the case of an order – our tax advisers and the tax authorities.

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, under Art. 22 GDPR.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Phone: +43 1 52 152-0

12. Changes

We will update this privacy policy if our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
