What we do
Complete taxi equipment, from a bare new or used car to a ready-to-drive taxi – all in one go at our workshop.
Taximeter installation
We install the Alberen M12, a mirror taximeter with its display in the rear-view mirror, plus the alarm system, signal horn and all the wiring in the vehicle.
FMS radio unit installation
For the radio installation we fit the unit that connects your vehicle to the dispatch centre and wire it to the taximeter.
Roof lights made in-house
We print the mounts ourselves from ABS. They are fitted to the roof rack or held by a magnet – we never drill into the vehicle.
Lettering and service
Roof light lettering, transfer to the new car when you change vehicles, repairs and replacement of the LEDs in the roof light.
A taximeter built into the mirror
The Alberen M12 is a mirror taximeter. The display and controls are built into the rear-view mirror, so there is no extra device on the dashboard: your view stays clear and the interior stays tidy.

Our two packages
Both include everything that turns a vehicle into a taxi. The only difference is how the roof light is attached to the car. The exact price depends on the vehicle and the radio connection. You can pay by bank transfer or in cash.
Floating Package
For vehicles with a roof rack
The roof light sits raised on our self-made mount. It is secured with a key and easier to see from a distance. The mount comes in a short or long version, whichever you prefer on your vehicle.

Magnet Package
For vehicles without a roof rack, and for tall vehicles
The roof light is attached magnetically. This is the right choice if there is no roof rack or the vehicle is tall anyway, such as a Mercedes Vito. A raised mount brings no advantage there.

Taxi roof lights: we build the mount ourselves
Not a bought-in part: we design and print the mount from ABS and adapt it to each roof rack.
We fit out any vehicle
Combustion, hybrid or electric, saloon or SUV. Customers come to us from Vienna, Lower Austria and the other federal states.
Our partners
As an Alberen partner, we install their taximeters. For dispatch centres such as Taxi 40100 and Airport Taxi, we fit out vehicles on an ongoing basis and install the matching FMS radio units.
The Alberen M12 is not tied to a specific vehicle: when you change vehicles, we remove it and install it in the new car. We give a two-year warranty on our taximeters.
About us
We have been installing taximeters professionally since 2023 as Alpen-Taxibedarf OG, in our workshop on Pragerstraße in Vienna-Floridsdorf.
We are a team of two, and every vehicle passes through our own hands. We design and print the roof light mounts ourselves and also make the alarm system. We buy in as little as possible.
